Synthetic Media, please
contact us and we'd be happy to answer them.
Why Synthetic Media?
For impingement and hammering caused by the heavy weight of
ceramic media
or residual foam from polyester plastic media which can stain
your parts and clog your filtration, the only alternative is
Synthetic Media.
Synthetic Media
is a water-base molded material very similar to plastic.
It's lighter and less dense with practically no foam residue.
Synthetic media
is ideal for aluminum, brass, copper, silver and gold.
It's recommended for all softer metals and can be used on harder
steel materials for smoothing and refining. It can be used
for quick flash removal for die-cast parts, while maintaining
dimensions and improving finishes. It also prepares
surfaces with a smooth finish, for parts needing paint,
anodizing, plating, oxide, chemical film and any other type of
surface coating.
Advantages of Synthetic Media
- Can produce low RA readings.
- Matches wear rate of plastic once it absorbs water (20 minutes)
- Can save up to 43% on tumble media costs (10 cu. ft. of
synthetic media
is 550 lbs versus 650 lbs of plastic media)
- 30% pound per pound lower cost over plastic
- 15% less
synthetic media to fill the machine
For a smooth, low RA finish, exceptional cost savings and filtration
ease, Synthetic Media
is your best choice.
